We have 41 permit on record landed for 2007 season.

TARPON:  25 LANDED

we have on record approximately 25 landed between 20 – 60 lbs. This past season the tarpons were a bit slow, the reason for this was due to the cold fronts we had way up in March, we were experiencing cooler water than normal; we never had a great run of bait fish which also added to the slow movement of tarpon in the area.

2008 OUTLOOK FOR TARPON:

For 2008 it looks really good for tarpon, the island’s lagoon is getting stacked up with bait fish; we expect them to go out again for the cold front season is not over; this is in fact a good sign for a good tarpon season, right now the water is warmer than last year.

BONEFISH:  100 LANDED

We have logged on recorded approximately 100 bones, please note that we do not get a lot of bone fishermen.
